We have major funding from the Leverhulme Trust for five
years and a fulltime Leverhulme Research Fellow in Cuneiform
Palaeography. The Leverhulme funded project is now entering its second month.Working jointly with the Dept of the Ancient Near East in the
British Museum we are about to make a bid to a major funding
body for a University of Birmingham Palaography Curator to be on the staff of the Dept of the Ancient Near East in the British
Museum.We wonder whether the techniques we have been developing might have possible applications in other disciplines.
