taking it further

Some students have expressed an interest in doing more theories of the mind work. I can't set up a third year extension seminar, or a theories of the mind taught postgraduate course, but I can do this:

for current second year students

if any of you want to do your dissertation/research project on a theories of the mind topic, I'm happy to work with you. If you want to do your dissertation as a set of web pages, ditto.

for current third year students

I can supervise postgraduate research on any theories of the mind topic. One year full time or two years part time; the latter costs only £600 a year, which is quite a bargain (my daughter is currently paying more than twice that for her Masters course at Royal Holloway College).

I am interested in working with students in three areas, which you might want to think of combining:

1. theories of the mind
2. web page creation and/or multimedia design (and, soon, digital video)
3. creative writing (poetry, film scripts, radio drama and drama/documentary in particular)

The advantage of combining two or more of those would be that (2) and (3) are marketable skills; so for instance a web based mphil dissertation on theories of the mind or a web based piece of creative writing with a commentary would be a double or triple qualification.
