Style

An important part of the research procedure is to use a consistent and appropriate style of writing. Colloquialism should be avoided as you are presenting a scholarly argument.

At an early state a plan should be made of the aims and objectives of the dissertation with the knowledge that this may change as the work progresses.

The argument should progress in an orderly fashion with emphasis on a logical and objective presentation. The content must show that you have a deep knowledge of your subject.
