Printing   In 1974 I set up a small but fully equipped hand press, known as the Flat Earth Press; details are here. I wrote a manual for the use of students, now transformed into Web pages: 'Hand Printing: an Historical Manual', 1977, Web pages. I also made three TV films, again for student use: on Hand Typesetting, Hand Printing, and the Development of the Hand Press. The press ran for some years as a jobbing press, doing small print work. In the late 70's we acquired a small offset-litho press, and much of the printing was transferred to that. Examples of the work of the Press are here.
