it's a good idea to double space: the blocks of paragraphs are rather forbidding and difficult to read, and you want to make life as easy as possible for the marker. Also any typescript sent to a publisher, or any other professional organisation, is always, without exception, double spaced. Learn now-why not? You also need to leave room for marker's comments.
